Washington state launched FundHubWA in September 2024 to provide an easy way for people and organizations to find state and federal climate funding opportunities.
The Department of Commerce offers federal tax assistance and grant writing assistance. Check out their Federal Clean Energy Tax Assistance Program and Federal Funds Grant Writing Assistance Program for more information.
There may be additional climate and natural resource state funding opportunities. Below is a list of state agencies most likely to offer such programs. These grants and loans are most likely to apply to entities such as Tribes, community-based organizations and non-profits, and local governments.

Information for new vendors and contractors
If you’re a vendor that is new to state contracting, the Department of Enterprise Services provides information about how to work with the state.
If you’re a small business owned and controlled by veterans, minority, women, or socially and economically disadvantaged persons, you might qualify for a certification. These certifications can increase contracting opportunities with state and local governments.
