CCA Dashboard: Climate Commitment Act projects, awards and appropriations

This dashboard is most easily viewed on a desktop computer. The Office of Financial Management created this interactive project map in response to requests for information on where and how Climate Commitment Act funds are being awarded. The dashboard displays how state agencies have awarded the CCA funds approved by legislators. Users can sort projects by grant recipients, project locations, program name, and state agency. OFM will update this dashboard as agencies identify or announce additional awards.

About the data in this dashboard
  • Award data is provided primarily for Washington state agencies with the largest CCA appropriations.  This includes the departments of Commerce, Health, Ecology, Fish and Wildlife, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Transportation, Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, the Recreation and Conservation Office, the State Conservation Commission, the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges, the University of Washington, and Western Washington University.
  • If a program has not yet awarded funding, the unawarded amounts will typically show as located at agency headquarters.
  • The total dollar amount includes projects that have received appropriations in the 2023-25 biennium and in the 2021-23 biennium.
  • This information reflects total award amounts and project budgets rather than actual expenditures to date.
  • Actual CCA expenditure data for state fiscal year 2024 and the amounts allocated to overburdened communities will be collected and reported by the Department of Ecology in November, 2024 per Section 133 (13), Chapter 376, Laws of 2024 and RCW 70A.65.300
  • Projects located in Oregon and Idaho have been awarded to Tribes with usual and accustomed areas in Washington but are located outside of the state OR consultants or organizations located outside of Washington that are doing work for Washington agencies or local governments.
  • The information for projects includes the state agency, program, county, legislative district, state agency, and grant recipient.
  • The map will be updated on a periodic basis as more awards are made.
